TiC is available to co-ordinate and facilitate performance or visual arts workshops tailored to the individual needs of school or community organisations.
Along with running their successful theatre workshops TiC, Theatre in the Community also provide an extensive Theatre in Education and Community Outreach Programme that has proven to be an expert service which delivers high quality workshops within North / East Wales and Cheshire, working within primary /secondary schools and community groups. Another successful venture has been the provision of specialist training packages delivered to community groups ; topics include, team building, performing arts, creative play, bullying, multi – cultural themes, alcohol / drug abuse awareness, literacy and numeracy workshops.

‘The Tree of Life’
‘The need for growth and development of young people’s futures and environment.’
Tutors would lead a group of young people through an art / sculpture day, with the brief of discovering young people’s views of their area now and their hopes and dreams for the future. These outcomes would be incorporated into a 3D sculpture representing The Tree of Life, from a small seed a flourishing community can grow.The finished sculpture could then be used as an exhibition piece.
Art Activity: 3D Sculpture
Medium: Willow, cellophane, tissue, foil.
Project Cost includes: One day workshop for two tutors working with 30 young people.
Multi – Arts Weekend
‘From Page to Stage in Just 2 days!’
Imagine the excitement of staging a musical performance, the frenzied hard work of battling against the clock to get the performance right ;The experience of working with a professional director, musician and choreographer.
It’s what the arts is all about. Young people will have the opportunity to perform extracts from a leading musical;
Past musical projects have been :
Return to the Forbidden Planet, Grease, Oliver
During the weekend the young people will learn 3 songs and 3 dance routines These pieces will be scripted and staged to culminate in a sharing performance at the end of the weekend.
Project Cost Includes: 3 tutors to work with 25 young people
TiC can also provide specialist outreach workshops
in all aspects of the Arts.
Workshops include Drama, Dance, Music and Art and Design.
